Repeated over 7 days, each step builds on the last to help skin look calmer, stronger, and more resilient.

Rescue Ampoules (Days 1, 3, 5, 7) focus on calming and reinforcing the skin’s surface environment with microsilver to help strengthen visible defenses, yarrow extract to reduce the look of redness, and panthenol (vitamin B5) to replenish moisture and support barrier lipids.

The BarrierIQ™ 7-Day Rescue & Recovery Protocol is formulated to support both barrier recovery and overall barrier function. These ampoules work best layered under or with your moisturizer. For additional support, pair with an occlusive cream, such as our Barrier Repair Mask.

Directions

Shake ampoule. Cover the neck with the enclosed opener and press down until it clicks. Snap it open and pour the entire contents into your palm. If the opener is misplaced, wrap the neck with a tissue and carefully snap it open. Apply evenly to clean face and neck, then gently pat until fully absorbed.

For external use only. Avoid contact of exposed glass edges. If the ampoule is not opened correctly and pieces of glass enter the product, do not use it. Discard the product immediately. Using a product that contains glass particles may cause serious injury.

My dream barrier recovery system

I have sensitive, reactive skin and have struggled with barrier issues on and off—especially over the last six months to a year. When my barrier gets disrupted, it can take weeks (sometimes months) to get things back on track, and it’s always tricky figuring out which products will actually help vs irritate my skin further while it’s healing.

I absolutely love the concept and execution of the Barrier IQ 7-Day Recovery System. The system is really straightforward and feels perfect for getting your skin back on track or just strengthening your barrier. There are two thoughtfully crafted ampoules that you alternate throughout the system, and together they work to rescue and recover your skin, leaving it calm, balanced, and healthy. One thing I really appreciate is that it doesn’t just make my skin look healthier—my skin actually feels healthier after using it.

This worked better than I could’ve imagined!

Skin Barrier Felt Stronger in Just 7 Days

This product was gifted to me by DRMTLGY in exchange for my honest review. I tried the 7-day ampoule system from DRMTLGY when my skin was feeling a little dry and sensitive, and it ended up being such a nice reset. The ampoules are easy to use and absorb really quickly, so they layer well with the rest of my routine.

Within a few days my skin felt noticeably more hydrated and comfortable, and the tightness I sometimes get from dryness was much better. By the end of the week my skin looked calmer, smoother, and overall more balanced.

I also love that each ampoule is individually sealed, so you know you’re getting the perfect amount each time. If your skin barrier feels compromised or stressed, this is a really nice short protocol to help bring it back to a healthier place.

Perfect for my irritation prone skin

This is a great set for a compromised barrier. I'm someone who deals with this from time to time, and it usually takes a while to recover. I also experience a lot of redness on my face. This is just the perfect system for when my skin has been through too much. I just use it for 7 days, and my skin recovers faster than usual and helps it get stronger so it doesn't happen as often. I feel my skin is so much more hydrated, resilient, and comfortable after using the whole set for 7 days.
