It's a great sunscreen even for sensitive skin. Feels really light weight and gives beautiful glow. I've tried other tinted sunscreens, however some of them can be heavy and feel more like foundation. DRMTLGY one is thin enough that goes on the skin evenly and doesn't feel like you have anything but nice moisturize on.
I am so happy I’ve found this sunscreen. I’ve really struggled to find a sunscreen formula that didn’t break me out, cause eye irritation, have crazy white cast or turn my face orange. I also find that most mineral sunscreens end up exacerbating dry patches so they look flaky and gross within a few hours of applying. This sunscreen is the answer to all of those issues. It’s a beautiful formula that leaves a dewy finish. Doesn’t sting my eyes even though I put it on my eyelids. No white cast and the tint is really flattering on me, I have fair-medium skin with neutral undertones, so it may not work on darker skin tones.
I will say because of the dewy finish it can get a bit shiny/oily throughout the day (I have combination skin that leans towards oily) but I just blot my face and reapply and it looks and wears beautifully. This is now my favorite part of my morning skincare routine. So so happy with this sunscreen, please never discontinue it!!
I like this tinted mineral spf, but I think it’s better suited for skin that is less oily than mine.
I love the clear broad spectrum spf 45 and wish DRMTLGY would add a tint to that formulation, it would be great to block blue light.
I have tried using the clear spf 45 as my first coat and then use the mineral spf as a second coat. It’s a little less dewy looking, but remains tacky on my skin.
I am going to wait until the winter months to try again, as my skin will be less oily then, and will need extra moisture when out in the snow.
Still a great spf at a good price point, with the bonus of all mineral.
Very similar to the Universal Tinted SPF, which I also love but wanted to try mineral based for beach and pool days, as mineral based are supposed to be less irritating to the eyes. The formula is definitely thicker/less sheer than the universal tinted SPF..I personally don’t mind it. It feels almost like a foundation, with the benefit of sun protection. I can see how this one might give more of a shiny look for more oily skin types, but it works well for me because I have dry skin. Very moisturizing. So much that I might stop using additional moisturizer underneath. I found myself adding a little powder for shine control, but that worked well. Still have yet to be disappointed by DRMTLGY products!
I LOVE all of my other DRM products and what they have done for my skin. After joining the DRM FB group, I noticed a lot of people were raving about this product….after trying it a few times, all I can say is that I don’t love it. It’s not terrible, but I don’t reach for it everyday.
It’s VERY thick and takes some work to get it blended into your skin. There is no coverage (yes I know it’s basically a tinted moisturizer, I guess I was thinking a light BB cream coverage) and I don’t like wearing it under makeup.
I have a sunscreen I like, along with BB,CC and foundation…all with SPF. Should have stuck with what I know I like, that works.
So many people love it, but it’s not for me.
